One of only 24 made in 1941, this extremely rare and beautiful Martin 000-42 flat top guitar is the perfect mix of versatile and valuable. A model famously played by Eric Clapton, the pre-war 000-42 marks a proud moment in craftsmanship by the legendary maker. The abalone trim around the top, snowflake inlays on the fretboard, and ivoroid binding are appointments meant to impress. This particular example has lived a full life these past 84 years and has undergone repairs by various means to keep in playing condition. It has recently undergone a restoration process in-house including, but not limited to, addressing inadequacies of previous work. We believe it is now at its full potential; its mature/articulate tone would be hard to match. See the Specs tab for the full repair history.

Don't miss your opportunity to own and play a true treasure of American history. Includes modern hard shell case.
