An outstanding example of a prewar 000-28 displaying the craftsmanship, sound, and overall quality that make these guitars so sought after. After eight decades, this '37 is still a little beauty in both tone and looks. This example has an oversprayed neck, reglued bridge, cleated pickguard crack, and a replaced bridge plate. The neck has been reset, a necessary maintenance enhancing playability and intonation, and the fingerboard has been refretted, now ready for another many years of playing. There is some minor playwear, buckle rash, and a couple finish blemishes on the back and sides. This guitar includes its original Hard Case, in rough condition, and a newer Martin Hard Case.
