This 1942 00-18 is an incredible example of a pre-war Martin. It has the focused, articulate power that '40s Martins are renowned for. Despite its short scale, if you're looking for a small-bodied guitar with plenty of depth and character, this one is perfect. This instrument has received regular maintenance, including a neck reset (though another would be beneficial), a refret, two glued cracks on the treble side lower bout (both back and side), a replaced end pin, a shaved bridge, a replaced nut, saddle, and bridge pins, a thick maple cap on the original bridge plate, and replaced tuner buttons.
