This 1928 Martin 00-18 is a 12-fret, pre-war gem featuring an Adirondack spruce top and mahogany back and sides. Lightly built with scalloped X-bracing and hide glue construction, it offers a warm, balanced tone with impressive clarity and resonance. A C-neck profile, wide nut, and short scale make it especially comfortable for fingerstyle players—an outstanding example of Martin’s golden-era craftsmanship. This example has undergone numerous thoughtful updates that have resulted in an excellent guitar that blends vintage character with modern playability. Check out the Specs tab for the full repair and modification history. Includes a modern Martin hardshell case.
