Description

The 00-17 is a classic small body design from the legendary Martin Guitar Company. In addition to the typical comfort and focused sound you'd find in 00 guitar, this one features mahogany back and sides, giving it a more mellow sound than the spruce counterparts. The charm is further driven home in the simplicity of presentation, being devoid of elaborate inlays or binding. This guitar has undergone some repairs over the years, which are as follows -

Structural: 5 repaired back cracks, 3 repaired side cracks and 4 repaired top cracks. It's also had a repaired neck block.
Neck reset.
The bridge has been shaved down, and reglued at some point.
There are some slight dents in the upper frets, which don't seem to affect playability.
Replaced saddle and pins

While you can expect most guitars of this age to have some mileage on them, the repairs certainly are not excessive. The guitar shows moderate signs of play wear, and has a great worn vintage look to it. The action is set for max projection, and the guitar sounds nice and loud. It comes with a non-original hard case.
