This 1936 Martin 0-28 stands as a testament to the craftsmanship and sound quality characteristic of Martin guitars from this era. Given its age, the instrument has understandably undergone some maintenance repairs. Most notably, it has had a neck reset to ensure the neck angle remains optimal for playability. It was refretted many years ago, and the frets are still in excellent condition with no dead spots on the board. The original bridge has been replaced, and a bridge plate saver has been added. Although the guitar maintains much of its original aesthetic, there's noticeable overspray on the headstock and some finish touch-ups on the top. This guitar produces an enormous sound for its size and embodies everything you'd expect from a pre-war Martin guitar.
