Modifications/RepairsRetop, replacement tuners, replacement bridge, overspray back and sides, 3 repaired back cracks, neck reset

This is a wonderful player grade pre-war Martin guitar, that has a unique character to it. The first thing causing you to do a double-take upon inspection is the uncharacteristic spruce top, where you would find Mahogany. Amongst other repairs the most notable was having been professionally re-topped at some point during it's life. The other repairs are as follows -

  • Neck Reset

  • The original bridge was replaced

  • The original tuners were replaced

  • Finish overspray on back and sides

  • 3 repaired cracks on the back side

Aside from the retop all of the other things fall within the normal maintenance you would expect from a guitar of it's age. Thankfully everything has fallen together successfully, and the guitar has a great sound to it! It's setup up with a healthy action height, so it projects in a commanding way for a small body guitar. It comes with a non-original case, that's picked up a few stickers along it's journey.
