The Country Gentleman is an incredible addition to the world of guitar playing. Influenced and designed by Chet Atkins, the guitar serves the player in utility and playability. The addition of a mute gives players the option to reduce excess string noise and have a more exacting tone when playing quickly. This guitar is in good condition with some noticeable wear and the expected crumbling Gretsch binding. Repairs to note include a mute adjustment, foam replacement, reglued binding, touchup on the back of neck and some finish disturbance around the tuners.
