Gibson set the standard for "Top of the line" with the Super 400. Initially introduced in 1934, the Super 400 was a luxurious model in its function as an instrument as well as its visual appeal. There are elements of excellence that serve the instrument, like its carved spruce top and beautiful maple back and sides selected from premium materials, and elements that serve the player. The aspects of the guitar that serve the player are intentional details like the pearl inlay on the back of the headstock, art deco tailpiece, adjustable Brazilian rosewood bridge and beautiful fretboard inlays. The guitar is a stunning presence because of its appointments as well as its overall size. This Super 400 is a tremendous archtop with sweet projection. This example is outfitted with a non original Dearmond floating pickup mounted to the pickguard. The guitar plays incredibly well thanks to a recent refret.

Comes with the original pink lined Gibson hardshell case
