The 1964 Gibson SG is renowned for its distinctive, double-cutaway mahogany body, along with it's thin & fast-playing neck. Coupled with the iconic Cherry red finish this model has established itself as a legend among electric guitars. This particular guitar features a repaired heel crack, a common issue with vintage SGs, which has been fixed and touched up to preserve the guitar's structural integrity. It has been updated with a replacement ABR1 bridge, to help retain intonation and playability. The guitar has also undergone a refret, along with repairs to a crack in the jack/control cavity, ensuring the guitar's electronic components remain stable and functional.
