“What the heck is that?” — we asked the same thing. Turns out it’s a Gibson parts-caster. That’s right: the neck, electronics, and hardware from an ES-295, paired with a custom, hand-carved body. It features a unique vibrato arm system and tailpiece, the unmistakable ES-295 pickguard, and—amusingly—a Les Paul truss rod cover. Most importantly, it sounds excellent thanks to the vintage P-90s and plays surprisingly well. Definitely worth checking out. Comes in a gig bag.
