Description

This Gibson LG-1 is a pristine example of the ladder-braced model, showcasing excellent condition for its age. The guitar has had the bridge professionally re-glued, with minor touch-up along the center seam and a maple cap applied to the bridge plate. Aside from these repairs, the instrument is all straight. There is some light checking and minimal scratching, consistent with a guitar over 70 years old. The LG-1 produces the distinctive "boxy" tone that is characteristic of ladder-braced Gibsons, making it an ideal choice for both fingerpicking and strumming. Comes with HC
