Tech NotesAction at 12th fret (body join) is Bass 8/64" and Treble 6/64". Saddle is low and would require a neck reset for any lower. Strung with silk and steels and plays comfortably.
Lightly braced and very resonant, this fully mahogany Gibson L-0 from 1930 is a delight to play. 12 fret join all mahogany guitars are rare to find in modern times, but they had a special place in the market in the 1930s when it was considered a more affordable alternative to spruce; now, this same Central American Mahogany is prized. The guitar recently underwent a refret and received a full height Brazilian Rosewood bridge. The action is on the higher side and has a low saddle, but as a 12th fret join body, it feels comfortable where most chords are played. Currently strung with silk and steels.

Comes in original chipboard case.
