This is a vintage Gibson Les Paul Signature semi-hollow in the Gold Top finish, made for a few short years in the early 1970s. The guitar is truly one of the quirkiest designs Les Paul and Gibson ever collaborated on with its offset body design, low-impedance humbuckers with a resistance selection knob and two output jacks. Marketed as 'one for you and one for the engineer' - one is a normal high impedance output to go to amplifiers and the other a low impedance to go straight direct into a recording console.
This guitar is in great functional condition having only a replaced phase pot with otherwise original electronics, almost no fret wear, and a few holes left over from a previously installed Bigsby tremolo. It plays and sounds great.
Includes a non-original hard shell case.
