Featuring the renowned craftsmanship of master luthier Tom Murphy and boasting an ultra-aged finish that replicates decades of wear and tear, this 2008 Goldtop is about as close as you can get to the real deal without waiting 60 years yourself! The solid mahogany body is crowned with a carved maple top, showcasing that legendary Gold Top finish. Murphy's Ultra Aged treatment adds a level of realism and character that mimics the natural wear and patina of a well-played, decades-old instrument. The historically accurate details extend to the binding, pickguard, and vintage-style hardware, with plastic parts and tuners upgraded from Crazy Parts in Germany. The two Burstbucker pickups faithfully recreate the PAF humbucker sound of the late 50s.
