Tangerine Sunburst and a Heavy Aged finish give this 2022 Gibson Murphy Lab ’60 Les Paul the look of a well-used vintage instrument right out of the case. The ’60-style construction centers around a slim mahogany neck, carved maple top, and rosewood fingerboard, with a pair of Custombucker humbuckers providing a wide range of classic Les Paul tones. Murphy Lab’s aging work extends across the finish, hardware, and plastics, with plenty of carefully replicated wear throughout. It’s a modern Custom Shop Les Paul with a particularly convincing vintage presentation.
