Description

This 1989 Les Paul Custom is an extremely clean Black Beauty with only the most mild signs of wear. These late 80s models feature the Gibson HB-L and HB-R pickups, a short-lived spec, but pickups that have gained a bit of a cult following for their extra hot lead tone. This example opts for the 2 pickup configuration rather than the 3 pickup, and weighs a respectable 9.2 lbs. The gold hardware, aged white binding and rich black finish give this guitar a stand out look. And a cool fun fact... it was once owned by Scorpions' guitarist Matthias Jabs.
