Description

This 1969 Gibson Les Paul Custom represents a distinctive moment in Gibson’s late-’60s evolution, with its one-piece mahogany body and maple cap paired with a mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard adorned with block inlays. Its dual Patent No. pickups offer the articulate, balanced tone these late 60s Customs are celebrated for. This example has been thoughtfully maintained, with a refret, new nut, and a replacement bridge and studs—its originals are included in the case, and remains all original otherwise. Plenty of vintage mojo on this highly desirable piece that served as a bright spot in an otherwise largely undesirable period in Gibson's history.
