This is an excellent-playing 17" archtop. The Gibson L-7, produced from 1934 to 1956, features a spruce top paired with a maple back and sides. This 1947 model boasts a stunning sunburst finish and has undergone several updates to enhance its playability and preserve its condition. Notable changes include replaced tuners, a full overspray, a refret, a new bridge, and repairs to two back cracks, the top center-seam crack, several cracks near the tailpiece, and a small hole near the treble-side lower bout. The pickguard has also been replaced. Cosmetically, it shows the expected honest wear for an instrument of its age. This guitar comes with a non-original hardshell case.
