Introduced into Gibson's lineup in 1922, the L-5 was the first guitar to feature F-holes, similar in build to a cello. This particular example, one of only 11 produced in 1957, is a joy to play and remains all original except for a replacement celluloid pickguard. It has developed a beautiful patina throughout its finish from years of being played, while remaining structurally sound. With low action, it plays beautifully, effortlessly delivering classic jazz tones.Original pink velvet lined HSC included.
