Constructed at the peak of the Great Depression, this 1935 Gibson L-00 has endured multiple wars and been treasured by several generations. Every blemish on its body narrates a chapter from its 90-year journey in the United States. Cosmetically, this guitar shows considerable wear and has undergone several repairs to maintain its playability. These repairs include a neck reset, a cleated center-seam crack near the sound hole, a glued 7" top crack behind the bridge, glued and touched-up delamination of the top seam on the bass side upper bout, a bridge re-glue, a shimmed nut, a replaced end pin, a "1951" marking on the heel, and replaced bridge pins. Thanks to these repairs, this guitar is a fantastic player and sounds incredible! HSC included.
