If you pick up a Gibson guitar with the J-50 designation, regardless of year it's likely going to sound really good, and this example from 1965 is no exception. It has previously been converted from the the adjustable saddle to a set, drop-in saddle and plays and sounds better for it. The body has been oversprayed, resulting in some really nice checking throughout. A piece of the heel had been broken off at some point, but was professionally repaired and finished over as well. It has also benefited from a n
eck reset. It's in very good shape for its age with checking and finish wear throughout. Includes vintage
HSC.
