When folks say "only time will tell" they are talking about acoustics like this one. The openness and character of a vintage J-45 rarely dwindle with age. Through repairs and maintenance, this instrument continues to be an exceptional playing and sounding guitar. Years of strumming and letting the guitar breathe leaves us with an instrument that will impress the greatest of players. Repairs include a standard neck reset, refret, and bridge reglue. There is touch up on the back of the neck, pickguard reglued, a small piece of wood is grafted into the treble side of the neck at the 10th fret. A new nut and saddle are added along with replaced transverse braces and finger braces. Replaced area of kerfing, replaced bridge plate and an X brace crack glued open.
Comes with a more recent black hard shell case.
