Timeless and iconic, Gibson launched the dreadnought-sized Hummingbird in 1960. This singer/songwriter and rhythm player favorite went through some spec variations, but here we have one from 1963 featuring a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, gorgeous Tobacco Sunburst finish, and 1-11/16" nut width (they'd get even narrower in 1965). This one has had a replaced bridge, strap button added, and some binding was replaced on the treble side waist as well as a small area on the neck near the nut. There are a couple deeper dings on the top lower bout bass side, and there's evidence of some finish touch up on the top and back. The current set-up is excellent, and it sounds big, full and ready to serve all your rhythm needs! Comes in a gig bag.
