When the Flying V was introduced in 1958, it was done so with self-awarenes: it's bold, futuristic, and innovative. The model was extremely limited in its initial release and then came back in the 1970s to serve the hard rock world that was longing for ultimate stage presence. This 2012 iteration is from the Traditional Pro series that aimed to modernize classic models and make them more player friendly. This particular example only has minor nitro finish checking on the "wings" but is stock in its current state: 2 original Gibson zebra humbuckers and pots. It also features a rare to Gibson, "wine red," stain. Comes with original hardshell case.
