This 1916 Gibson F-2 is largely original and very clean for nearly 110 years of age! It was built in Kalamazoo with all the classic pre-Loar features—oval soundhole, carved scroll, and a warm, hand-rubbed finish that’s aged beautifully. The spruce top and birch back and sides have developed a rich tint, with all original hardware intact: tuners, bridge, pickguard, and tailpiece - the only thing the has been changed was the saddle. It plays great with a comfortable V-shaped neck and delivers that dry, woody warmth these oval-hole Gibsons are known for.
Includes OHSC.
