The 1976 Gibson Explorer marked the model's triumphant return after its original 1958 debut, reissued as a Limited Edition to celebrate the U.S. Bicentennial. This reissue features a solid mahogany body and neck, a rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, and gold-plated hardware. Equipped with Gibson's "tar-back" humbuckers, it delivers a powerful, articulate tone. The 24.75" scale length and chunky C-shaped neck profile offers a substantial, vintage feel. Approximately 1,800 guitars were produced, making it a sought-after collector's piece. This model comes with its original hardshell case.
