This 1960 Gibson ES-355 TD represents the top of Gibson’s thinline semi-hollow lineup at the time, dressed in its ebony fingerboard with pearl block inlays and gold-plated hardware. Originally leaving the factory with a Bigsby tailpiece, this example has undergone a stoptail conversion, giving it a more direct connection between strings and body. The pickup covers have been replaced and the guitar has also received a professional refret for excellent playability and the binding on the treble side has been replaced. With its laminated maple body, slim early ’60s neck profile, and elegant multi-ply binding, this ES-355 carries the best of the era.
Includes original blonde Gibson hard shell case.
