The ES-345 is the middle ground between the straightforward 335 and the ornate 355, offering a perfect blend of elegance and functionality. Though it might experience a touch of "middle child syndrome," its role in "Back to the Future" has secured a special place in our hearts. This 1966 ES-345 is an exceptional instrument with outstanding playability and tone. Despite undergoing some modifications, it remains in excellent condition, appealing to both collectors and players. The updates include replaced pickups (Tim Shaw in the neck and a Seymour Duncan DDJ in the bridge), tuners, strap locks, a new tailpiece (original included but spray-painted black), a reversed selector switch, an added mono jack, and a replaced bridge. Despite these changes, this guitar maintains excellent cosmetic condition and plays beautifully.70's Gibson HSC included.
