The 1969 Cherry ES-335 is a radiant example of Gibson's vintage semi-hollow body guitars. Featuring its signature cherry finish, this particular model has undergone several modifications to enhance playability and maintain its vintage appeal. It has been professionally refretted and fitted with a new nut to ensure optimal action and playability. A Nashville bridge has been added, and the original trapeze tailpiece has been replaced with a more traditional stopbar for increased sustain and stability.
The original tuners have been reinstalled on the guitar, but there are holes remaining where different tuners were installed at one point. A touch of filler was also applied to mask some buckle rash on the back. This guitar is an outstanding player-grade ES-335 item, which makes the price much more approachable than the all-original pieces. It also includes the original Gibson hard case.
