Among the Cuban Missile Crisis and Telstar streaming the first trans-Atlantic television signal, Gibson was producing some really special guitars. This ES-335 is a wonderful example of why the semi-hollow electric has such a prominent place in guitar history. The Patent Number pickups sound incredible form clean jazz to overdriven rock sounds. There are some small areas of touchup described in the notes, and the saddles are replacements, but otherwise the guitar is entirely original. There is an aesthetic and sonic appearance that comes from such an original guitar which is always impressive. Considering the age, this 335 is very stable and wonderfully playable as it sits.

Comes with the original hard shell case in very worn condition
