When Gibson relocated to Montana in the late '80s, they perfected one of their iconic acoustic models: the Dove. Gone were the over-the-top bridge designs, excessive bracing, and screwed-down pickguards—what remained was a stunning guitar with flawless craftsmanship and a rich, full-bodied tone. This 1998 Dove In Flight model numbered 146 of 250, has aged beautifully, showing moderate wear consistent with nearly 30 years of use. Its tone is exceptional, offering superb playability across the fretboard and delivering a powerful, balanced sound with each strum, thanks to its scalloped bracing. Includes the original hardshell case.
