Description
With Gibson's move to Montana in the late 80s, they finally perfected one of their flagship acoustic models: The Dove. No wacky bridge apparatuses, excessive bracing, screwed down pickguards etc. Just an absolutely stunning guitar with impeccable build quality and rich, full-bodied tone. This 1994 example commemorates 100 years of Gibson innovation, and features the special Anniversary label inside. It remains in great shape for 30 years of age, with its only notable wear being slight finish chipping beneath the A and B string tuning keys, a small chip on the back side lower bout, and a spot of finish crunch on the bass side bottom. Its tone is perfect, with great playability all around the fretboard, and powerful, balanced tone with every strum thanks to its scalloped bracing.Includes Original Brown Gibson Montana Purple-Lined HSC.
