Description

This 2015 Les Paul Special Double Cut Figured Top is a bold reinterpretation of Gibson’s late-’50s DNA, blending familiar vintage cues with thoughtful modern upgrades. Rooted in the 1960 double-cut Special design, it pairs the lightweight, resonant feel of the original with a figured maple top, full body binding, Custombucker pickups, and a classic ABR-1 bridge with stopbar tailpiece. Visually, it’s a standout: a transparent ebony top contrasted by a dark metallic green back. Sonically and physically, it delivers—lively, articulate, and comfortable in the hands, with a voice that covers everything from raw vintage bite to rich, harmonically complex tones. The guitar remains in excellent condition, completely original, and comes with its original hard case.
