Description

The Gibson Country Gentleman is a product of Chet's work with Gibson to improve upon his famed signature model. While guitarists know Chet for his Gretsch signature, we cannot discount his improved model he debuted with Gibson. This guitar takes into account both sonic and functional improvements Chet believed would serve the player. Equipped with sought after Schaller "Crank Winder" tuners for speed restringing and the original Gibson parts, this Country Gentleman is in very good shape. It plays and sounds fantastic with some marks on the top and back. Light scratching from a cleaning cloth and playing as well as general wear for an instrument of this age. Included is a "Sta-Tuned" system that was previously installed on the guitar with string locking bracket and TP-6 style micro-adjust that attaches to Bigsby. This Chet Atkins is ready for its next home, be it a collector or professional player.
