Condition NotesWell worn and aged but stable overall

This CF-100E is a remarkable example of Gibson’s infamous mid-’50s “acoustilectric” line. With a tone that fills the room surprisingly well, it’s uncommon to find a CF-100E that sounds this good unplugged. Naturally resonant and balanced, it already has a strong acoustic voice before ever being amplified.

Plugged in, it delivers the rich, distinctive electric tone these models are known for, building beautifully on its natural acoustic character. It also plays very comfortably thanks to the hand-filling C-shaped neck.

While it shows honest wear consistent with its age, it has not been abused and remains in excellent structural condition, ready for many more years of playing. Includes the original hardshell case (OHSC).
