This 2001 Gibson "Merry Christmas" Lucille is a one-of-a-kind piece—finished in gold and built by Gibson as a gift for B.B. King himself. It’s the only gold Lucille ever produced, played by B.B. exclusively during his Christmas performances. The guitar remains in great condition, with light wear throughout, including stable binding cracks along the sides, light finish checking, and some wear on the bottom edge from time spent in its case. All signs of a guitar that was used, not just admired by the King himself. A historically significant and visually striking instrument with direct ties to the King of the Blues. Comes with the OHSC, COA, Juliens Auctions B.B. King Book, Eric Dahl's ""B.B. King's Lucille and the Loves Before Her" 1st and 2nd Edition, original setlist and photo.
