Description

Introduced in 1972, the Telecaster Deluxe was promoted as Fender's premier model. This 1973 example showcases its excellence. It has undergone several modifications: an additional routing under the pickguard for a past modification, five extra holes in the pickguard, replaced strap pins and string trees, and added holes to both pickup covers. Despite these modifications, the guitar is in good condition with moderate wear, particularly along the treble side of the neck where the finish has begun to chip away. It is set up with low action and remains a pleasure to play!
