The 1971 Fender Telecaster features an ash body and a maple neck with maple fingerboard - a combination typical of early-’70s production. This guitar has had several repairs and modifications, including a refret, new nut, replaced neck pickup, replaced switch, and replacement fingerboard dots and position markers, along with a planed and stained fingerboard. A Bigsby vibrato was installed at one time, leaving mounting holes in the body, and the bridge retains slots cut for the unit, with additional holes drilled in the control plate. The instrument shows water or sweat exposure, with areas of the finish lifting, adding to its overall fair cosmetic condition, while remaining structurally stable.
Includes original Fender hard shell case.
