Description

This 1962 Fender Stratocaster is a great early-'60s example with a history of modification. The body has been refinished in Olympic White, accompanied by a replacement logo, refret, new nut, replacement volume pot, 5-way selector switch, and replacement saddles. A light center seam separation is visible at the heel and within the tremolo cavity; it remains stable and appears to simply be a cosmetic consideration. This Stratocaster has evolved over the years, with each modification contributing to its continued use. It stands as an honest vintage Fender with the unmistakable feel and character of an early-'60s Strat, shaped by both its original construction and the modifications and updates it has received.
