Description

This 1960 Fender Telecaster reflects an important transitional era, marked by the introduction of the slab Brazilian rosewood fingerboard to the model’s design. While the body has been refinished and the pickguard replaced, the guitar retains its original electronics and much of the character that defines an early ’60s Tele. The neck has the slim, comfortable profile and the instrument’s weight and balance make it a responsive and lively example. The guitar and its case carry the familiar, earthy scent of age. Original tuners remain intact, and the pickups deliver the clear, focused tone that's been cutting through on records for decades.
