The 1952 Fender Telecaster comes from the earliest full year of the model’s production, pairing a single-cut ash body with a one-piece maple neck. The "Telecaster" text was removed from the headstock and the entire face has been oversprayed to protect the remaining fading logo, and the neck has been refretted with the nut replaced during prior service. Wiring has been updated to modern Telecaster circuit layout, moving away from the original 1952 scheme. Markings include faint “TG” initials on the neck heel with the date no longer visible, while the body pocket shows “Eddie” and “TG” with a clear 1-26-52 pencil date stamp. Potentiometers retain early blue ink codes now concealed beneath solder from earlier wiring work.
Includes 50s Tweed Fender case. (In fair shape, one hinge is loose and one latch is loose)
