This original 1965 Fender Stratocaster in the incredibly rare Custom Color Teal Green Metallic is not only a stunningly beautiful guitar; it plays and sounds great as well.  Did we mention that it's... Teal Green Metallic?  This guitar's a unicorn doubling as a musical instrument, the color is so rare.  Fully authenticated and ready to go this Strat is ready to rock, or hang it on the wall and impress your friends.  The neck's dated August of '65, the guitar features a transition logo, pearl dot position markers on the neck and a white plastic pickguard; all of these are hallmarks of mid to late '65 Fenders.  Under the pickguard are three original gray bobbin pickups.  The bridge pickup is signed and dated, "MJ" "10-8-65" for Maricela Juarez, the legendary pickup winder from the golden era of Fender guitars.  The pickups are balanced and sound like reference example for each position.  The neck on this guitar is shaped so perfectly... not too fat, not too thin.  Couple the excellent neck shape with a perfect refret here at CVG and this guitar defines ease of playing.  It's just a joy to hear and play.  All solder joints are as they were when the guitar left Fullerton sixty years ago.  The original strap and bridge cover are in the original black Tolex no logo rectangular case.
*When using Affirm, we charge an additional 3.5% fee on the total at checkout. The majority of our instruments are consignment, where CVG keeps a small percentage of each sale. To be able to cover the additional costs required to offer financing, we have to include a higher fee to the customer. The 3.5% fee will be included in and spread across your Affirm payments.
