This 1965 Jazzmaster comes from an interesting transition time in Fender's history. As Fender came under new ownership some small changes in spec began to take place and this guitar exists right in that crossroads. Its neck is dated June 1965 and features pearloid inlays on an unbound Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard. This was also the first year of the white witch hat knobs on these models. This example is extremely clean with a small pickguard crack being the only notable repairs. Its original electronics sound perfect with a smooth jazz circuit. Cosmetically, it's in outstanding shape with minor player wear and beautiful checking in its finish.
Includes modern Fender Custom Shop case.
