First introduced at the 1958 NAMM show, Fender's intention with the Jazzmaster was to offer a professional, elite, and improved solid body model that would appeal to jazz guitarists. Appealing to a completely different audience, for rock'n'roll and surf artists, the Jazzmaster became one of Fender's best selling models of the 60's.
This fine example is in great condition. It has an old refin, refret and an oversprayed neck. Jazzmasters are such unique guitars, every player that falls in love with them does for life. This guitar is incredible, resonant and plays like a dream.
