This Fender Jaguar in incredibly rare Firmest Gold is a sight to behold. While the serial number 114889 is often associated with very early 1966, and that 110000 is the start of 1966, the cut-offs are not clear. So saying this is a late 1965 or early 1966 would be safe. What's important, is this one mostly has 1965 characteristics: double-line Kluson tuners, '65 dated Potentiometers, and dot inlays. The neck date is unfortunately illegible due to apparent factory fitment sanding. The Jaguar was the most expensive model Fender had in 1965, and a custom color like Firemist Gold was a premium option. This one appears to have been kept safely cased for decades and has its original frets, nut, and foam. It's collector grade for certain.
