A killer take on the classic Telecaster, this CS Postmodern Tele has an amalgamation of features from the '50s and '60s models, lending to a guitar that feels traditional but has a unique vibe of its own. From Fender's Custom Shop info:
"With vintage look and feel and modern touches not specific to any certain year, the Postmodern Tele gives players everything they want with amazing tone, comfort and sonic capabilities. A two-piece ash body with contoured neck heel wears a Journeyman Relic® lacquer finish, while the quartersawn maple neck hosts a '60 style "oval C" profile, 9.5"-radius quartersawn maple fingerboard and 21 narrow tall (6105) frets.
Hand-wound loaded '51 Nocaster (bridge) and wide range Cunife (neck) pickups are sent through dual-stack HS Tele wiring with an angled switch and electro socket output jack. Other features include a three-ply black pickguard, '58-'63 Tele bridge with compensated brass RSD saddles, vintage-style tuning machines, bone nut and wing string tree. Includes deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity."
