This 2020 Fender Custom Shop ’59 Stratocaster Heavy Relic captures the look and feel of a well-worn late-’50s classic. Finished in aged Lake Placid Blue, the relic work highlights the contours and character of the alder body beneath. A rift sawn maple neck with a comfortable vintage-style profile pairs with a rosewood fingerboard for a smooth, balanced feel. Under the hood, hand-wound Fat 50s pickups deliver the lively, open tone associated with this period of Strat design. It’s a finely crafted instrument that blends historical detail with the playability expected from the Custom Shop.
