Description

This 1964 Fender Custom Esquire such a cool, and rare, guitar. Produced in far few number than Telecasters, Esquires stand out for being a purists Tele. The original Esquire wiring (solder joints are factory original) lends itself to hot country playing for when the switch is all the way back the signal is sent directly to the output jack, bypassing the tone pot. This guitar has a great neck with a very comfortable, not to big/not too small profile. The original frets show very little playing wear and the guitar plays effortlessly. It is nice and light as well at 6.8 pounds. The guitar comes in its original white Tolex hard case.
