After Gibson acquired Epiphone in 1957, they began expanding Epiphone's line of semi-hollow guitars. The Sheraton was part of this expansion, introduced in 1959. It featured a body shape similar to the 335 but included mini humbuckers, an 'E' branded tremolo system, and additional embellishments such as multi-ply binding and intricate inlays. This particular example is in excellent original condition, with only tone posts added inside the F-holes. The guitar plays very comfortably with a nice slim taper neck and sounds great with its original mini humbuckers. You can't ask for much better!
